B.Sc.CSIT Details in Nepal for Students !!



Admission Details

The B.Sc. CSIT program admission intake is open once a year during the month of Shrawan or Bhadra. Tribhuvan University, Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), Dean’s Office, Examination Department, Kirtipur publishes the notice for the application of admission.

After the application opens for admission, a student eligible to study the B.Sc. CSIT course should collect and submit the application form from any of the constituent campuses of affiliated colleges offering B.Sc. CSIT course. The applications will remain open usually for about a period of one month. An entrance examination is conducted by Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), Tribhuvan University where applicant students need to appear and pass the exam in order to enroll in the program.

Admission Process Summary

First of all, application for admission is opened by university.
Students need to visit the college and submit the application form.
Students need to attend and pass the entrance examination conducted by university.
Entrance passed student can get admission in the desired college following the college’s admission procedure.
Some colleges also conduct internal entrance test to get the admission in the respective colleges. Kindly do contact the respective colleges to know more about it.

BSc CSIT Entrance Application

All students must pass the Entrance Examination conducted by Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), Tribhuvan University in order to qualify to enroll in the B.Sc. CSIT program. A student eligible to study the B.Sc. CSIT course should collect and submit the application form from any of the constituent campuses of affiliated colleges offering B.Sc. CSIT course.

Entrance Exam Key Points

The applications for Entrance Exam generally opens during the month of Shrawan or Bhadra every year.
The Entrance Examination will be of 100 Full Marks including the subjects of Intermediate/10+2 level or equivalent incorporating English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects with 25 marks for each subject.
All the Questions of Entrance Examination will be Objective Type.
The Pass Marks of the Entrance Examination is 35 Marks.
The Examination Time Duration is of 2 hours.
